Claire’s Accessories got in touch with me again after I had designed and built their main blog: Claire’s Stylebook. They needed a blog site for their US-based sister brand Claire’s Icing. The Icing brand is targeted for young women and pitches itself as an edgy, sexy and bold brand.
The Requirement
Icing already had their retail store in place so the blog design had to match their existing guidelines but also stand on its own outright. It needed to be clean and minimal without being plain and drab.
The Solution
The site produced stayed faithful to the Icing brand and allowed the social team to construct posts in a page builder style. A product carousel module was built to create a natural link between the post content and the retail store. Other features included an Instagram feed and bespoke design for their Bridal posts.
